Espionage Party

Secrets and spies and everyone lies.

About Us

The first Espionage Party was conceived and written by Rey in 2010. This first scenario was set at an art gallery, featuring a secret artist and an auction (ideas that would later be used in the Goats 'n' Scapes scenario). Even this earliest incarnation felt like something special, so more followed: a 1920s speakeasy, a mission to colonize the moon, and an Amazonian search for a lost city. Each showed refinement and small improvements in design. Kyle, one of the first players, then began writing his own, making additional changes to the format. More and more people wanted to play. In 2014, Rey and Kyle decided they had something truly exceptional on their hands. They began the long work of adapting the game for commercial release. Sarah, another enthusiastic player who had moved to writing her own scenarios, joined the team a year later. They now work on Espionage Party year-round.
